From all indications, ‘Orente’ singer,
Adekunle Gold, has ended his relationship
with Olamide’s YBNL imprint. Adekunle’s
contract with the label had expired in
December 2016 and a renewal was mooted
earlier in the year but apparently that has
not happened and the singer has moved
on.
The nature of his exit from YBNL doesn’t
seem to be cordial either as a quick check
of Adekunle’s Instagram revealed that he
has deleted all Olamide’s pictures and his
profile no longer has any mention of YBNL.
In addition, while all artistes affiliated to
the YBNL label and friends of Olamide,
including Lil Kesh, Phyno and Young John,
have been reposting the rapper’s new song,
‘Love No Go Die’, since yesterday when it
was released, Adekunle Gold’s page does
not mention anything about it.
Adekunle Gold reportedly posted it initially
before he deleted it few hours later.
He had a hugely successful 2016, the year
he dropped his first studio album, GOLD,
with most of the tracks going viral.
